LOWVELO has a route option for everyone this year. We’re excited to introduce our new family-friendly 10-mile Island ride, along with our 22-, 57-, and 100-mile rides. Check out the route maps below, pick the ride for you, and register now. Not ready to ride on the road? Join us at the finish line for one of our new stationary cycling classes. All riders will celebrate at our Isle of Palms finish line block party!

10-Mile Island Ride

Starting on Isle of Palms, this ride begins along Ocean Boulevard, crosses over Breach Inlet and then loops through picturesque Sullivan’s Island before returning back around to the Isle of Palms finish line.

22-Mile Ride

Kicking off from Hagood Stadium at the Citadel, this ride continues over the iconic Ravenel Bridge and into beautiful Mt. Pleasant. The second half of the route takes riders around Sullivan’s Island and Isle of Palms.

57-Mile Ride

After initially following the 22-mile route, this ride continues over the IOP Connector back into Mt. Pleasant and then partway into the Francis Marion National Forest before doubling back to the Isle of Palms finish line.

100-Mile Ride

This ride starts in Charleston and includes the Ravenel Bridge, the beach communities in East Cooper and then a 60-mile excursion into the Francis Marion National Forest before returning to the Isle of Palms finish line.

Destination Ride

Chris Aronhalt from Medalist Sports describes the four amazing routes planned for LOWVELO21. The routes go through some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Lowcountry, including Charleston, S.C. and the island communities of Mount Pleasant, Sullivan's Island and the Isle of Palms.
