LOWVELO brings communities and organizations together from throughout South Carolina and beyond on November 6, 2021. In the process, we’re creating amazing memories while forging lasting friendships and partnerships.
It’s also a celebration, as we honor and celebrate our cancer survivors while supporting our researchers to find the cures for tomorrow’s patients.
LOWVELO offers participants a choice of four cycling routes to experience beautiful Lowcountry landscapes while keeping everyone safe (see our COVID safety plan). You also have a virtual LOWVELO Home Team option for those who can’t join us in person or who may rather cycle, walk, or run on their own.
Regardless, we’ll give you inspiration along the way to train and create a healthier lifestyle — yet another way to fulfill our mission of cancer prevention and awareness.
When you participate in LOWVELO, you know where your money goes. All of your hard work and sweat equity goes directly to support lifesaving cancer research happening at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center
About HollingsEarly bird registration is $75 (until October 6) and includes a 2021 LOWVELO T-shirt.
Whether you are riding, donating, or volunteering, your support makes a big impact on lifesaving cancer research. Check out our blog, the Hollings News Center, and our videos for the latest stories and updates about our amazing researchers and participants.
Since LOWVELO first took hold in 2019, we’ve been amazed at how our community has come together to raise money for cancer research and make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. Events like this really do make a difference in the fight against a disease that touches so many.
